West End & Horton Heath County Councillor
Fair Oak & Horton Heath Borough Councillor
Fair Oak Parish Councillor
I came to Fair Oak 19 years ago, from West End; both my daughters went to Fair Oak Infants and Juniors and to Wyvern. I am a County, Borough and Parish Councillor and am currently a Trustee of the Twynam’s Charity, which provides affordable housing in the area.
Before taking early retirement in 2018 I worked for a national animal charity, overseeing 90 staff and a £5million budget. Amongst other interests I am Treasurer of my Regimental Association and a volunteer at one of Winchester’s wonderful military museums. You will often see me walking my three dogs in the area.
- Fair Oak Square shops suffer from limited access: I would like to make short stay parking easier and enforced.
- We have many signs that serve no purpose or are too dirty to understand. I want a review of street furniture.
- Traffic jams – were the changes to phasing at the Stubbington Way junction the solution?
- Residents are constantly let down by Eastleigh’s poor record on building enforcement: we need a Councillor who works for residents, not developers.
